What's a good way to find BOINC alpha projects?

The title says it all. Of course, I'm more addicted to the ATA(Addicted to Alpha) team than I am to alpha projects. Sort of like you guys.

(It's not truly a team, since everybody has their own team they're on, but it feels like a secondary team )

    nm, Google.

    Depends...

I often get an email seeing as I set up the boinc wide team for Free-DC, but not always..

There are a few forums over at berkeley, but mainly I rely on just checking out the various other forums.

If you want I can let you know as soon as I find a new project. I tend to hop on them straight away as well..

Though I've now gone back to some other projects to try to up my 'count of boinc projects for which I have 100K on'

Working on SpinHenge and Primegrid right now which will bring me up to 17...

I don't believe so, as that list comes with the boinc installation itself..

Jasong - Google is your friend.

Also an ounce of luck in surfing other teams fora.

Very true on both counts. I'll see what I can come up with.

    Thanks, people.

A brand new one is Computational Structural Biology

but be warned that I've not had a wu that didn't error out yet on both windows and 64bit linux.

VERY early days, but I'm expecting some valid work soon...

they are exporting stats too..so I've added them in..

I've had the same problem with this new project too. Every task ends in an error. At least they are small downloads unlike some projects (H2 ) that consume bandwidth and result in errors.

Looks to me like they need to statically link their executables.

In linux I get dependency errors on the version of libc as well as a missing libmysqlpp.so.3 which is the c++ wrapper for mysql. I could fix that bit easily enough but I'm not going back on libc..

Dependency Walker in windows show the following dll's missing.

    MSVCP90D.DLL
    MSVCR90D.DLL

Anyone have them ? Not sure if they can be distributed or not outside of the latest version of VC++ and I've only got VC 2006.
