Free-DC Stats Evolve! History Class Begins!

That's right guys and gals (glares Moogie's direction), the Free-DC stats as you know it have evolved! Forget that ogr over there.....ecc2 other here....and everything else wherever you can find it. IronBits has worked long and hard to provide a central location for stats, including all active Free-DC projects. Not only are the stats there, but they let you keep track of your stats history for the entire month on any given project in the stats database!

Tonight the 'History Engine' makes it's debut!

Drop in and marvel at the begining of a great tool! Something missing? Let us know!

Databases are fresh and begging for completed units from all projects! Start crunching fast and furious! We would also like to point out that LM, F@Home and Distributed Folding are not included, because DP and Dyyryath take care of them for us

Most accurate stat is the one based upon "effort units".

Don't know if there's a specific page geared towards stats parsers and the like.

Near the bottom of the stats page, there's a list of all teams. Each team is a hyperlink to a page showing all members of that team. Not sure if this helps. Miguel is pretty responsive to questions and the like on the Official forum's page if the above doesn't work.

One TEXT file <TAB> delimited that contains and entry for each user, 1 per line.
ProjectRank TeamRank UserName TeamName other pretinent stats et al.

I already created the perl script to rip Free-DC's data from the link you provide.

Using what you suggested, UserName and "effort units" for History purposes.

It should be up and working by tomorrow evening.

Might I just make one suggestion? How about adding the links to the Arachnid site for DF/F@H to stats column on the page? It seems odd that you can get to all those various stats from that one place, but can't get to DF or F@H stats from there.

At some point the "news flash" that mentions the link to Dyyryaths is going to scroll off the bottom....

I don't like the layout of the current Navigation Panel for the Other 3rd Party Stats section yet.
It looks a little confusing, but I'll be working on it until I get it right...
