    an explaination please...

ok i think im having kinda the same prob as this guy. maybe not.

MY prob is this: the cEM/s are about 316500.0 when i look at it in the client window.
but when its posted in the graph on the website it shows up as about 100000.0 .
why is this? is the website calculating this number differenty?

    thanx

edit** here is what it says now. (lower b/c im runnin a few things).

just look at my user stats for a look at the graph. (Shifter2101)

if you look (on the site) at when i first started running SB you can see that it was at a higher cEM/s rate.
someone please explain this to me please.

The stats on the site are generated as a per amount of time graph. Meaning that if you only ran the cient for a few hours out of the day it'll only show the average rate you had. Also if you have don't have send intermediate blocks checked then it'll only update your work when it communicates with the server.

When were you assigned the test? The graph will only reflect the rate given in the client if you've been crunching the test 24/7 since you've got it. Looking at your screenshot, I'd guess you have, so I'm not sure :/

Check your pending test page to make sure that the test you're working on is there, and is updating properly. Averaging the total work done by the date the test was assigned should give you the values on the graph.

you guys are saying that i should turn the "send intermediate blocks" on?

also, is this a good rate for a p4?

    yes

it was not too bad with v1.11
but you should definitely switch to v1.20 where SSE2-optimization for P4s are reenabled again, that should give you at least a 30% speed boost

    Definitely!

And there is no need to deinstall the old client before. Just make sure that the client is not running while you're installing the new one. Of course you need to install it into the same directory, otherwise the new client won't find your test...
