I can now imagine all the car manufacturers reprinting the parts manuals that refer to master and slave clutch cylinders. Will there now be the 49 state version, the CA version, and the CA-LA version? government imbeciles !

I sometimes think that the people in certain parts of California are just a little too removed from the reality of the rest of the world...

What makes you say that? In all seriousness, I would have to wonder if you are right. We promote ourselves as having liberal attitude (in major cities, rural more conservative to moderate), accepting, etc. There are parts of California that just go way too far. I makes you wonder. I've enjoyed living here. Easy access to plenty of things, cuturally diverse. It's jut gotten to the point where it's extremely crowded, as well as expensive to live here. I don't like alot of the politics that go on here, but then again, I guess you could say that in any stated.

Don't even get me started on the vehicle registration tax which would have tripled our vehicle registration fees if Arnie hadn't rolled it back. The schools are, how shall I say this, not very good in most areas (I'm putting that mildly) and they are cash poor. Lots of problems. I wonder if they will ever be able to climb out of the fiscal mess they've gotten themselves into?
