i wonder if its the stats server or the real server

it can't be all the clients at once

better go see if they are backing up
    or what

Whatever, it's definitely on the DF end.

Like Fozzie, I think I'll hold off on a couple of big dumps.

Meh... I'll just rebuild my firewall OS (it'll be LFS CVS). That ought to slow down DF enough to make a difference in my output, at least. What better time would there be than now, when the stats don't work anyway, right?

The one box that I could check when the slowdown first started was still sending work in. That combined with the fact that everyone has about the the same proportion of stats that they usually have, just way less, points at some kind of divisor applied to everyones stats. Maybe a slow protein factor was added, it just ended up being divided instead of multiplied. Or maybe Howard is slowly easing us into the zero multiplier scheme.

Well, at least everyone is in the same boat. It would have been worse if it just happened to a handful of people. At least it's fixed now.

Sorry to hear that PCZ. The new client has definitely had its problems, no questions there. This latest one was a stats issue with the problem on their side. I don't think (as it was noted above) that there is really any DC project that hasn't had stats issues at one point or another.

    Happy crunching!

Ouch that's always a bummer to loose stats Happened in the early stages of EON, when we lost almost everything Free-DC had, well I lost all of my stats, luckly DP had SOME stats that retained. Glad to see they haven't had a problem in a while, think I'll help out some with the EON front to possibly get us to #5, we have the highest daily production (but not by much).

    Err...Is it happening again?

I'm on Gen 235, should be getting around 766 points. Instead, i've been getting from 0-365.

Normal? My computer's messed up? None of the above?

I don't think you are trying hard enough PCZ. You need to get hold of some decent processing power.
