    Riddle me this:

    Using SB v1.1.0, Win98SE - the prp client seems to be speeding up as I get towards the end of processing currently at 80k cEM/s, usually more like 72k to 75k. The other day it was doing 90k cEM/s before I started using the machine.

    Is this unusual? Expected? I haven't seen the client act like that before.

    Running Win98 I am more than a bit paranoid about the machine being hijacked.

    No-one else noticed anything odd?

    PS: before you start the OS flamewar I will be changing when I get my external modem working again (need to find the right power cable seeing the old one died)

    Really, I think win98 is the most secure OS out there right now. My box has been virus free ever since XP came out.

    Because of the credit formula, your rates can change depending on the WU's K and N values - as they get larger so does the rate.
