    cems/s??

My CEM speed is strangly high, I have 1 opteron 240 OC'd to 1.61GHZ, cEMs/sec is 496,900 , is this strange for a 1.61GHZ? Or is the reading wrong?(PC2700 ram 256Mb) Could I see some other peoples cems/sec? The reason it's lower in the picture is because I am running Chessbrain too!

Nice numbers for a 1.6 Ghz system. I'm running a 2100+ @ 2.16 Ghz on an A7N8X Deluxe with 512 MB of PC2700 and getting (when I'm not running any other DC clients) ~530,000 cEMs/s while web surfing or light gaming. From what I've seen elsewhere, these are high numbers for an AMD system. If I let the system sit without using it, it gets up to 580,000 cEMs/s. I'm lovin v1.2.0

What is the cEM/sec rate, with the new SOB version (2.2.0), in a Pentium 4, 2.2 GHZ ? I want to know, because probably this is will be the CPU of my new PC.

    My P4 2.4GHz is pulling 1,800,000 cEM/sec, so I guess it'll just be slightly lower for the P4 2.2GHz.

SoB will absolutely scream on your P4 machine

I'm getting about 2.5M with one client on my P4 3.4. Thank goodness for SSE2!!

I haven't tried 2.2, but is it faster than SSE2??? Just curious.

I have been using it without submitting intermidiate blocks. Using SSE2 I am getting
    2.73M with my P4 3.4.

    I'd say that's pretty good.

    Hi. I'm getting ~1123700 cem/s on my AMD Athlon XP 2700+ w/ 512 ram.

  16. #16
That's about the same as I'm getting on my XP3000+ with 1GB RAM

If I'm not mistaken the xp2700 and xp3000 are around the same clock speed but different cache, 256 vs 512. Also memory doesn't make that much of a difference.

In either respect some very decent numbers from both of you.

Just wondering if it's still not better to sieve with athlons as opposed to prp even with the new client. To each his own mind and wow what an improvement with the client, I remember when my o/c'ed barton was getting 700cem/s.
