    Question Question about Protein change

I am very new to this project and in fact just started crunching DF. I hear about the upcoming protein change and that the old protein will only be good for results for 24 hours after the release of the new protein. I would like to know how to flush the old protein from my computer before the deadline?

    Thanks

"Flushing" old results only applies if you are folding offline, then connecting specifically to upload. If this applies to you, then just do that sometime within 24 hours after the changeover.

If you are online full-time, then no problemo! Just be sure that you have a file named "autoupdate.cfg" in your folding directory, the file containing only a "1", and you're set. When the change occurs, your system will "autoupdate".

For more details, read any of the various "readme" files associated with the DF website or in the files you downloaded.

My pleasure! If you think something went wrong with the changeover on your machine(s), take a look back here. If other folks are having the same problem, it'll be written up pretty quickly. We're not a quiet group! If you just have a question, post it. We're not a quiet... oh, I already said that.
