Stoping causes hang on Intel Celeron?

Recently I downloaded and installed version 1.20
Although when clicking stop or exit while running a test the client will hand and you have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get out of the client. I have restarted the computer and hav no other computers running at the time. When the client hangs the client doesn't seem to be running at all looking at the task manager. Computer specs below:
    OS: Windows XP Home
    RAM:512 MB
    Proccessor: 700 Mhz Intel Celeron
    L1 Cache: 16 KB
    L2 Cache: 128 KB

    Thanks for your time

I wouldn't expect any computer to respond well to having its minerals extracted!

Seriously, I had the same thing happen to me, on an Athlon XP 2200+ (1800MHz) when I pressed stop and then exit. Pressing just exit worked fine, and supposedly saves the current state. (Right?)

Yeah, this is the one known bug with 1.2.0 ... its fixed in 1.2.1 but 1.2.1 is beyond broken which is why it was pulled..
