Many thanks to FREE-DC for hosting this forum. DF is a terrific DC project, and I'm happy to see that the forum has been given an appropriate home here.

I originally passed on DF after a quick scan of the About section at the web site (no unattended Internet access for me, by golly!), but I got going with DF after coming back a few days later and reading the README (hello?). The -df -u t and -i f switches were just what I was looking for, because they let me run DF just about like Genome@home on -nonet and -upload.

A ramdisk keeps things quiet for me and a freeware program to hide the DOS box keeps my compulsion-to-check tendencies at bay.

Anyway, this is great constructive fun, and I'm happy to be a part of it with you.
