Curiosity begins to fill the air. I'm suprised we haven't heard anything yet, since we're scheduled for a change on the 7th, at the current rate. And of course, there is the $64,000 question (Isn't that about 250 Euros these days?):
How big will the new protein be?
If you like to pay these $64,000, I just say - 92 AA.
howard hasn't been announcing these prior to hitting the mark lately
Use the right tool for the right job!
I expect an algorithm change versus a protein change... My thoughts based on my observation that the "energy" has a tendancy to get bigger instead of smaller with the last few algorithms. Of course the energy lever is not what they are optimizing, but since that is what they allow us to view, that is all we can speculate on...When is the next proteinchange ?
Howard also gives us a day or two warning before a change, so I expect it will be next week...

I expect a protein change. An algorithm change has just passed by with some beta clients.Originally posted by Ned

Seems to be a regular update, and I think, this may happen a bit later because of the holidays.
So keep calm and fold on..
Just been posted on DF News page...Code:01/06/2004 Upcoming protein update The protein update is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at 11:00am EST. Please make sure to keep track of any changes on the news page.
Anybody knows something about the size and name of the next proteine?
