Guess the # of AA's in the upcoming protein

The title says it all. Make your prediction here. The winner gets invaluable "bragging rights" for the next few weeks, along with the virtual "DF Championship belt".

Note: Howard and Elena can't play.

What looked like a crack in Grumpy's crystal ball is actually a minus sign.

P.S. Mirror is really for OCW Folders only, so nah nah

I say the protein will have 129AA most of the time, with random mutations to 130AA.

    It's all Grumpys fault!

But no matter what, it will be the slowest protein on record, and it will take longer to reach 10,000,000,000 than even the first few long ones in phase I (I remember them lasting months)

Must be that extra year you just put on. Happy belated b-day, by the way. How is the new supercharged, protein crunching wheelchair dealing with this protein?
