This relates to G@H crunching power:
I have an Athlon 1200@1350 at home that does a 71AA in 5 hours 30min.
At work, the P4 1500 that I have does the same 71AA in 7 hours 50min.
I knew TBirds were better, but not that much better - dang!

I am already planning a new rig right now - dual AMD goodness. Not that my KK266@1350 needs an upgrade, but I feel like playing and having fun. Might be a few months though before I get after it. Still investigating the best approach and combo - thinking baout Dual Durons@1.2 for the time being.
Muhahahahahaha.....
PS: Wonder if my home rig would beat the two Dell Xeon workstations in my wife's lab at work. Need to look into that as well....

I've got 3 P4s, 2 2ghz and 1 1.5ghz. They're good at some things GIMPS and Ubero, but don't even come close to matching my TBirds in everything else.
Supposedly they're pretty good for SETI, too, though I haven't tested that myself...
