    Speed

    Test of 709 blks

    P3 1ghz
    33mins a block = 16.2 days to finish test (126k cEMS/s)

    p4 3ghz (800mhz FSB)
    4min 40 sec a block = 2.3 days to finish test (860k cEMS/s)

as the tests are getting larger and larger my old system is taking
way to long to finish a test, unforntunatly it is the only system that i can really run 24/7.

any possibility of giving out half tests ?

This has been mentioned before but is not likely to happen quite yet jhowever you may want ot put your machine inot factoring or sieving. Although it wil never find a prime there it would be the most efficient use of the systems if the end goal is solving the problem.

For P3s, I'd propose sieving, as factoring would yield approx. the same speed difference, whereas in sieving, your P3 is half as fast as the P4 after all.
