    How is this possible? 2

I have sieved the 46500-45600 range for the DC Sieve (300k<n<3M). In the factrange.txt file I have several factors for n>3 M and just for curiosity I submitted two of them, namely:
    46536339372697 | 21181*2^3751484+1
    46544991959621 | 21181*2^4499108+1

But the thing that suprised me is they were accepted as new factors! Shouldn't these factors have been found by the person who sieved the same range for 3M<n20M? (which is what I was expecting).

These k/n pairs do not exist in the current sob.dat file. So, the factors for them were found before the last sob.dat was found.

They're probably duplicates (second factors for the same k/n pairs).

The sieve submission page accepts submissions as new if:
    - it is an actual factor, and
    - the p | k/n triple is submitted for the first time.

    See here.
