I started with the screen saver and then the text client. The winner hands down is the text client run as a service. It uses everything available and seems to have very minimal overhead. Plus, the boss can't see it.

Thought I understood from a previous post that you have a very understanding boss, plaidfishes.
I work for myself. But She Who Must Be Obeyedlikes her fish screen saver and would cause me bodily harm if I changed it.
