Never as far as I can see. Every time the client is stopped inappropriately, it leaves behind crap in the form of dbf and cdx files. I delete them manually from time to time.
Just looked at my temp directory and there are 170MB files which appear to be DF temp files (they are using the same naming convention and extensions; and the dbf files contain similar fields)...some date back to early June so was wondering how often do the temp files get cleaned up?

A quick pointer for those looking to manually nuke the temp files: Make sure you shut down the client before nuking the temp files; as that will/can corrupt the DF client.

Borging.. it's not just an addiction. It's...
nuke those files before the client has closed and it's bye bye filelist.txt
Indeed, just to confirm, it is only safe to clean out those temp files when the client is completely off, otherwise you will compromise your own results.
