    Great job everyone!

    Beyond, watch out. I'm gonna take back my #10 team rank soon, i hope. I'm going to visit you guys in the US from Thursday on, I hope I can complete the huge packet currently in progress (already worth more than 300.000 GFlops, at 97.98%) prior to that. My production will stop for three weeks then, so I guess you'll be able to hold that rank.

    I hope you enjoy your visit to our side of the pond.

    Tenth could be yours again, I will soon be turning to other projects to finish off several hugh caches.

    Well, I hope you prepare some good weather for us in the north-east.

    My huge block was sent in some hours ago, I should be able to overtake you in the next stats update. Since I will be offline for the next three weeks I fear I won't hold that place for long.

    Thanks; 308512 GFlops is quite impressive indeed, but in the end I would have gotten the same GFlops if I had calculated two blocks with half the size each

    That remembers me of a quote I recently heard: Why take one, if you can have two of it for twice the price?

    I've been following the thread and was wondering how you tell how much a unit is worth before it is done processing?

    I've got some units taking a couple of days to process. One that I'm watching is on an xp2600+/n2 mobo. Is that normal?

    It's normal that some workunits take longer than others. The GFlops you'r credited are calculated by the formula:

    GFlops = Seconds * CPU rating / 450

    Both values can be found out via the "Job Information" mask for the currently active job (on Windows systems, don't know about linux)

    /me tips his hat to Evilmoose

    Don't worry, I'm sure you could catch me if you put all your powah into FaD. My problem right now is getting my work units straightened out to the point I'm getting somewhat even points every day. Other than that, I'm pretty much full bore into FaD.

    I.ve got

    my old lappie 24/7 on it and a couple of part time home boxen too.

    Can you transfer a client lock stock to an offline box as I could put some much bigger guns on it if that was feasible. It must be iconless too.
    Alas poor Borg, I knew it Horatio
