    D2OL Ports/IPs

    Does anyone know offhand which ports & what addresses the D2OL client uses? I think I'm going to load it on a couple of work systems to see how it does...

    Dyy, if you check out config.php in SengentD2OL/D2OL/res directory, you will see this:

    # The sleep delay between server handshaking, in minutes
    HandshakeDelay=360

    Locator_Service=config.d2ol.com
    Registration_Service=67.98.89.130
    Management_Service=config.d2ol.com
    Result_Service=67.98.89.131
    TaskAssignment_Service=67.98.89.131
    TaskData_Service=data.d2ol.com

    Statistics_Service=67.98.89.132

    As for the port, there is a file named cmdPort.dat. It says 33946 and I believe that should be the port number. Can't be too sure about that.

    It is all port 80 http.
    I just checked one of my proxy logs and found these IP's
    67.98.89.131
    67.98.89.132

    Allowing 67.98.89.128 /29 should cover all there IP's

    Don't get too excited IB, I really did just mean 'a couple' for now. I'm too busy to keep track of a large number of installs at the moment.

    I'll probably just keep adding boxes (I still have a bunch of home boxes left) until I'm over 1000 or so a day. Maybe just a smidge more than that, we'll see.

    There is only one tool suitable for monitoring a large D2OL farm.

    True,

    which reminds me, MerePeer shouldn't you advertise this on the D2OL official forums too? I've seen it mentioned on some other groups websites but they think it's internal to Free-DC only.

    I can host it here if you want.
