    Sieve Scoring Question

MikeH (or anyone who can help),

    Code:

    Pos UserName Score ( %) 2 ( 2 ) 1 ( 1 ) 0 FacD Excluded n<3M 3M<n<20M

What do the "+" or "-" symbols I have highlighted red on the PRP tests saved and score listings mean?
Do they mean that the item has changed in the last day?

If I look at the PRP tests saved for "AlanSimpson", "cjohnsto", and "Stromkarl" it appears that each added factor(s) to save 2 PRP tests.
"Stromkarl" added factor(s) to save 1 DC test.
As a result, I can understand the scores changing and having a "+". This makes sense to me.

If this is what the "+" or "-" means, why wouldn't Joe_O's score change because he had a factor go from "(will be saved)" to "saved".

I must be missing something. Please help me understand the scores pages!

    Thanks,
    Stromkarl

Correct, means they've changed in the last 24 hours.

You might have thought so, but that factor scored when it moved into the "DC window" (when DC PRP was 200K less than it is now). The indicators on this page don't change until PRP actually overtakes the factor, and it really is a "PRP test saved".

As ever, thanks for the interest.

    MikeH,

So when a factor is found, the initial score is given, as seen by my score above. Then when a factor falls into the current PRP range additional points are given for saving a test or two. After that, when the PRP effort has caught up with the factor, the status of saved vs potential saved is updated. How could I have missed that?

Now I understand the stats. I hope I wasn't being too dense.

Thanks for your help and all your hard work on the sieving pages!

    Stromkarl
