Project Dolphin stats have not updated since Jan 29-07.
They have had a problem with their domain name, but can be reached directly @ http://85.17.61.56/.

I'm afraid the script just can't get the data. The website is there but all the data behind it where I get the scores from is not

Take a look at the script log and you'll see what I mean.

Thanks for your stats site! A request

If you wouldn't mind, could you update Team Blueberry Pi (in PI Segment) to be associated with Ars Technica (which is presently a phantom team in the list)

In appreciation of your efforts with the team stats, I've just sent a few bucks your way (I should also mention I couldn't use the Paypal button in Firefox on Windows, or Safari on Mac - had to fire up IE to get it to work).

You mean on the Ars Technica Team page right ?

I've done that. You can actually request those yourself from the link in the top right corner, it doesn't apply directly but I pikc any changes up and apply them

I've deleted the phantom row team (my stats engine currently does not have any way to mark teams as non-active, say on a name change - devel version will do this though...)

Cheers for donation! Not sure on the paypal link. Works fine for me under firefox??

    Hi Ted,

It seems to happen from time to time with the WCG non-boinc stats for some reason, I think its the weird way WCG does there stats feed - there is already a thread running HERE about it

    Whatpulse & UD Grid

For the last month or so the stats have been frozen in Whatpulse. I understand they went to a small donation as an update to cover costs to operate there service. This may be the reason for the lack of xml stats being exported?

United Devices/Grid.org closed its doors on April 27th 2007. The project has ushered all its working members to join the WCG projects. This would mean that the stats are now retired. News about closure: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/fo...d?thread=12904

The Boinc Project vtu has been silent for sometime. There is no response from the primary server and all activity is sent to the alternate with also no response. The actual project was short lived as it was testing test platforms or something odd like that.

This was just a heads up ! !

Thanks for the heads up. I switched off UD stats on the day they stopped it, just haven't 'retired' it yet.

Will take a look at the others..

    I just added

    PS3 Grid Stats

    and

    Gerasim Stats

I've got tons of projects to add to the DCR and users pages now. Not sure when I'll get to it as it needs a good solid two hour block of time. I haven't forgotten though...

    New Additions or removals

    Need to retire another project
Seems Project Dolphin is off line in a permanent state, their URL is For SALE!

This is the former link to the stats page...
    http://www.project-dolphin.nl/teams.php?o=980&c=40

Not to be confused with this Web Link: http://www.thedolphinproject.org/

I found this little URL quite interesting to read, Project dolphin is third from the end, Yes it is a long read but what a memory of all the projects past: http://www.distributedcomputing.info/recent.html )

    Project Dolphin is still operational.
The URL is not working but the key-counter program still regularly sends its data to http://85.17.61.56/.

    ah yes

my bad. I really shouldn't browse and try to fix things when I'm doing other stuff as I overlook things

Just smack me over the head if I don't respond to things after a day or two

According to Post #141 your on vacation sort of, I suggest you relax for a bit and prop your feet up. Sleep in; in the mornings, and in the evenings pop open a cold one and relax a bit. Hopefully as in any vacation, one feels better once has languished in the realm of not having to do the normal things that drive us all crazy. I am not into physical violence of bashing one's head just because he made a mistake and proves he's human like the rest of us earthlings.

Sit down, relax, and walk away from the keyboard, That's an order!

    I wish I could

Up at 6.30 to get my kids ready for daycare, my work never really stops, so I'm doing some of that and well, I'm stuck to my keyboard.. in fact I'm doing some stats work right now on my dev box... whilst also painting my dining room..

I'm definitely having some cold ones in the evenings though.. in fact as soon as I've picked my kids up I will be !

On another note, I've actually just arranged to meet up with magnav0x next week whilst I'm in Dallason work, so that should be fun

I'm already working a mobile stats tracking system so we can post a live beer count so the other Free-DC'ers can track who has the strongest liver. Who's taking the bets.

....no I'm seriously not....but someone is welcome to do so!

Unfortunately for me 40 mile cab rides are a little pricey. I just may have to drag my wife along to drive me!

    yup,

    I already enabled them again

EDIT: Actually they might be exporting the stats again, but they haven't changed at all. I forced an update and it confirms that totals are identical..

  35. #155
That's strange. I only noticed their export starting again 'cause BOINCStats gave me a LHC production of some 870 yesterday.

Excellent! The project sounds really interesting and I hope to give it a try when we finish up with OGRp2-25. Hopefully it will have matured by then. The prize idea is definitely an added incentive.

I think it is interesting and there certainly is a LOT of feedback with the admins.

Account creation is closed right now, but I believe I can give out the invitation code to a few, as they were wanting a few more users, so anyone who would like one, let me know.

Good Morning Bok ! I hope the meeting with Magnavox went well, you got to prop your feet up on vacation, and you got the kids off to Day Care with out missing any!

I was wondering if you could look at BURP! not the gesture one produces by gulping the beer in his hand, the project ~! Seems the xml is not exporting and being received by your stats configuration! Other sites like Boinc Synergy are capable of receiving the data so you should also be able...

    Please Help
