Proth_sieve hangs at p just above 709500 billions

I've had this problem for a while, just not put much thought into it. proth_sieve_cmov stops processing after the sixth iteration of the 709500-710000 range. It continues to use all available processing power, but frees the memory and just don't do anything useful.

Could someone else try this and suggest a solution? If it's some sort of local problem, I'll abandon the range and give it to whoever want it, but if there is some solution, I'd like to finish it myself. I've been using the daily updated Sob.dat (although I haven't updated it very often). I'm getting the problem with at least two different dats. The proth_sieve_version is 0.40.

I haven't tried to start at a later point to see if it happens there too.

try version .42 see if that helps

It did! Thanks! I wasn't aware of the 0.42 version (should have checked )

Yep, seems there was a fix in .41

    * More tolerant hash settings to prevent infinite loop for some p.
