i think you would recieve 2 types of objections..
the 'too hard to setup' type
and the 'inefficent use of resources' type
what sort of n value are we looking at for 10million (im assuming < 50M)
i could see no practical reason why the largest prime queue cannot be cleared (reallocated) and populated with suitable values. (it just takes time/effort)
it would also probably require a new "QQQ" directive
would i be correct in saying that ANY prime found for a particular k-val will eliminate that k-val ?
ie are we infact trying to find the smallest prime, or just any prime?
as for ineffiecnt.. that is really subjective in terms of what you are trying to acheive.
i would suggest that n<50M has not yet been sieved enuff yet.. i belive it is only complete upto p=25M whereas i would expect p=100M would be more suitable.
