Sieve Speed vs Processor comparison Table

CPU versus Sieving Speed (Notes at bottom)

I would like to know how processor type (and number), memory size, FSB speed and Operating System affect the sieve client speed.

    - 5-7% increase with dual channel mem
    - fsb does not appear to affect performance, simply raw Mhz
    - Opteron's and A64 seem to run better with SSE2!!!
    - Centrinos seem to do quite well

Just for bragging rights I just wanted to post that the top scorer again...
    Code:
    cmov	Barton Mobile - 2500Mhz 1x512MB	Win2000 740 kp/s	1M-20M @ 500T
And Yes that score is mine and it is correct!!!

It was my old shuttle nforce2 board, ran at 12.5X200Mhz with very agressive memory timings.

    Traded up to a dual board, 2x17x133 = 4522 Mhz = 1120 kp/s with 991-50M @ 40T,
    but I guess that type of notation isn't really fair... 2 x 560 kp/s

Sounds like a prefect sieve machine, what is the MHz of that machine? Sounds perfect if not close enough.

And can you run the gauntlet of benchmarks, perhaps I should make you co-author

O.K. some new benchmarks from Ironbits knocks me way way out of first place...

    Code:
    sse2	FX-55 (2678 MhZ)	2x512	WinXP	884	1M-20M @ 900T
    cmov	FX-55 (2678 MhZ)	2x512	WinXP	869	1M-20M @ 900T

    sse2	FX-55 (2678 MhZ)	2x512	WinXP	701	991-50M @ 900T
    cmov	FX-55 (2678 MhZ)	2x512	WinXP	694	991-50M @ 900T

    sse2	AMD64-754 (2000 Mhz) 1024	2003-64	673	1M-20M @ 900T
    cmov	AMD64-754 (2000 Mhz)	1024	2003-64	655	1M-20M @ 900T

    sse2	AMD64-754 (2000 Mhz)	1024	2003-64	533	991-50M @ 900T
    cmov	AMD64-754 (2000 Mhz)	1024	2003-64	522	991-50M @ 900T

    cmov	Sempron (12x166) Sk-A 256	2003-64	430	1M-20M @ 900T
    cmov	Sempron (12x166) Sk-A 256	2003-64	369	991-50M @ 900T
    884 kp/s with 1M-20M
    701 kp/s with 991-50M

Are the new scores to beat!!!

BTW I e-mail you on your other questions...
