There's a factor already in my range

I've reserved the range 794000-795000, and have done some sieving. However, I've noticed looking at the gap analysis that my range isn't merely one gap, or part of a gap, but contains one gap, and another part gap. Specifically, it lists the gaps '794063988899173-794525752210181' and '794525752210181-797672762567201' that together cover my range.

This I gather means that 794525752210181 is a factor, that has already been found. However, I've only recently started the range, and am nowhere near that point in my sieving. Also, there doesn't appear to be a conflict in the reservations. Basically, I'm just curious where this factor came from. Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Thanks

Most likely it is a *comparably small* P-1 factor. There are a number of recorded cases where a P-1 factor will fall inside a sieve range. I remember there being another thread on here about it.

It's a P-1 factor found bt MikeH, probably in 2004.

Thanks, that clears it up nicely
