    Quiet Mode ?

    Hi Folks

    can someone advise if there would be any advantage to me running the S-MDC in quiet mode

    currently running nothing else on systems except latest TEXT CLIENT version with the -DF switch on and VNC for monitoring - on a mixture of Win 98SE-128Mb Ram/Win2K Srvr Pro-256Mb Ram/Win2k Pro 256Mb Ram

    also any advantage to increasing the buffers and file sizes in win2K Pro
