4 minutes to launch!
We're still in the T-9 minute mandatory hold, but they're going over their final checks... I'm praying this goes without a hitch, because if it doesn't, NASA's gonna have a hell of a time getting authorization for another launch.
What do you think?
4 minutes to launch!
Successful launch... they're 65+ miles out, at over 15,000 mph
Congratulations to NASA!
Only bad thing is that they took off at morning local time. If they'd launched two weeks ago in the afternoon (local time), we would have been able to see the shuttle in the sky a few minutes after the launch.
Engage!
Good thing I work from home and could watch this live in HDTV
Nice launch!! I was somewhat nervous I must admit...

I was extremely nervous... My heart was beating very quickly.
Congratulations to NASA on another launch. I hope every goes ok while they are away. Unfortunately, I'm at work so I had to watch the feeds from NASA's online television feeds, but still awesome!
