Using google's cache: on 7th of June so two days before there was only 4715 pending tests.
That's not exactly a bad problemOriginally Posted by znedelchev

Guilty. idle-queue job on a computing cluster ran amok. I'm sorry. I'll ask the admins to null my assigned units.
You can start expire some by yourself. http://www.seventeenorbust.com/accou...sPending.mhtmlOriginally Posted by aasmunds
I know it is a lot of work. I had do it once with only 1000 tests.
I've expired some tests now. Are things working for the rest of you now?

How many computers do you currently have working under your account?
If it's less than 20 I'd seriously consider doucmenting which tests you are currently working on then dropping all of the remaining tests through the website.
FYI and for others, this type of run away client has happened in the past just not as excessive. I also wanted to point out that the substantial increase in score is temporary. You only get credit for those k/n pairs you complete fully and correctly. Partial credit is removed once the test expires.
In any case scoring is not the real issue, scoring will sort itself out with some time.
The real issue is the gap in the firstpass tests cause by the cluster. If you don't drop those tests they will go untested for several weeks, please try to drop the tests your not working on as quickly as possible.
Actually flushing and fetching is not possible at this moment.Originally Posted by aasmunds

From stats page: for yesterday all data is 0.
aasmunds successfully cracked the project.
Hopes come to an end to leave today on 3 place
I apologize for the nasty English (I use the translator)
Not a DNS error, a user assumds basically reserved all of the tests in the firstpass que. Computer error or something...
He dropped them, but for some reason the server is not acting correctly nor is it accepting results from users.
Hold tight and hope that Louie or Dave fix the problem shortly.
We were warned before that problems would occur if the firstpass que was empty. I believe someone tried to populate the dropped test que before this happened but it was too late...
===============================
I'd suggest people, try a P-1 or sieve range until things get sorted out. Hopefully we will hear something from the Project co-ordinators shortly, but I'm sure they are too busy working on it to post currently.
When will the problem be fixed????
Hi,
Something caused the server to stop handing out tests when assumd's clients went amuck. I've fixed that. I don't have time to fix the queue assignments right now as I'm sick and attending an AFS & Kerberos conference.
I've tried to get ahold of Louie and Dave but no luck as of right now.. but things should be working for the time being.
Thanks for getting this done Alien88, hope you get better soon.
