    Sure, why not?

    685 million Gnodes.

Rationale? Took a rough guess on our average output (taking into account Lauren2's month-long hiatus), decided on an end-date of my birthday (2nd-Oct), and it was as scientific as that!

    Anyone else?

Things appear to have changed. Like was said the Ars thread, individual contributions are now being recognised, there are more than 400 distinct users, plus the main yoyo address for those who haven't fiddled with their client...

http://stats.distributed.net/project/ogr_status.php is now official by .plan of TheJet
As you have probably noticed, we now have more detailed completion statistics available for the OGR-25 project. By clicking on the '%-complete' number on the main project status page, one can reach a detailed 'stubspace completion' page. This new page outlines the completion rates for each stubspace, as well as the overall project stub completion information.
better stats for when OGR ends...

    We finally finished Stubspace 4!

The last 5 work units were verified yesterday I've been watching Space 4 and 5 slowly dwindle done these last few weeks, seemingly taking forever!

There are only 4 stubs to go in Space 5. Only four more 6-diff stubs floating around (probably on a long neglected account, and waiting for the time-out period before they're redistributed!)

    Rollin' rollin' rollin'

    Progress rawks!

I realise that between 200,000 and half a million stubs are crunched every day, but getting through those last few from a particular stubspace makes the project feel just that little bit more completed.

BTW, did anyone else notice that DPC dumped 260 million GNodes yesterday? That means just under 10% of their total score was contributed in one day. For the day, 2.3 million stubs were returned, nearly 10x the usual rate

And that single dump was more than the 13th place team has, total. It boggles...

Their top participant, [DPC]NoizyCows, passed 1 billion Gnodes yesterday. That's 1000 Pnodes or 1 Enode. That's nearly eight times more than our top user, maefly.

Anyone know if it is a single user account, or one of their sub-teams?

  26. #1266
The NoizyCows did a very nice dump!! ... they have there 6 year teambirthday

and almost all the output comes from 1 user ( Axe-Action )

I am sorry But I do Not approve of a team/member saving up work for
that long just to impress others
Chances are we all had to redo the work way before he sent it back

Actually, I believe if a stub has already been submitted AND verified (by a second separate submission), you won't receive credit for it.

I thought this was very interesting...
distributed.net proxy network status (Project OGRP2 only)

Current as of Tue, 20 May 2008 05:40:47 GMT

The current distributed.net rate is 462.60 giganodes a second!
If nodes were bytes, we could fill 346.95 80 GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 disks every minute.

Fix your config file so it buffers 24 hours worth.

per default the PS3 gets 168 packets, if buffers are empty, every full hour I flush via a cron-job, but I do not fetch new work, because I usually have confidence that my internet connection is up 24/7...

if it happens within one month again I'll set it to fetch/flush every hour
