Good to see you Shish! How does it feel to be son and poochless?

I've got some pretty big ones running right now (high priority-what is with those?), and some waiting to report.

    All good.

I believe high priority just means BOINC will give those jobs more than their allocated time share if necessary to get them done before the deadline. You usually see this on work units with short deadlines, or ones which you've left until they are close to the deadline.

You can get the "Ready to report" WUs to go by mashing the "Update" button on the Projects tab. Otherwise they will wait around until BOINC decides to it's darn good and ready.

Thanks for the tip Angus, I was wondering why it took so long to update.

I keep getting it running out of work. Then to add insult to injury you hit update and messages say "Reporting 0 tasks, Requesting 0 new work" Stupid Bonk is bonkers. Doesn't it know I've got no work left. Even a reset project doesn't always work. I had to do a full detach tonite. Grrrrh. Why can't these programs just work without having to babysit and molly coddle them
An who keeps moving the emoticons around ?????

Go to their website and configure your project settings.
Set it for 1 days worth of work instead of the default of .25 days worth.
or up to 10 days worth of work.

Both Simap and Rosetta seem to be out of work so most of my crunching is back on Aqua (with a smidgen on NQueens).

Is there any other protein-related BOINC projects out there?

Most of the other protein related BOINC projects are out of work, or just down in general. POEM@home still seems to be up and running though. Also, WCG might do some protein stuff but I'm not sure.

It looks like Rosetta is back in action.

I don't use BAM, so I can't help you there.

BAM is very handy (I find) if you have lots of boxes to manage - can add projects, change resource %age and drop projects from a single box...depends how many projects and boxes you run as to it's usefulness...
