ah, ok. I've added the test part in, we'll see if it retrieves the data ok now.

usernames in DPAD team pages are not correct (team name disappeared like previously in Most__ stats)
http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...Team%20Ukraine
Teamname is not supposed to be part of the username here. Way back when it was agreed with DPAD (I think) that the teamname would be enclosed with [] and I would then safely strip those out which I do.. Yours and a few others seem to be enclosed with () which I've never stripped out. The teamname does get pulled out as it matches with one in the teamdata.
I think I'll just add a piece of code to regex out any /()/ that remain after the team is stripped..

They are still running, but I chose to do some maintenance today on the gargantuan host weekly table to split it into years and it's taking a VERY long time to delete out the older years. In fact the query has been running for 12 hours now This is causing major slowdowns on the rest of the updates.
In hindsight I should have just copied the table over to another machine and done it like that.
It had 750million rows in it and this one is the main cause of the 'sunday' slowdown so that will hopefully be a bit better tomorrow and LOT better next week once I finish.
So let's just hang on and hopefully it'll complete soon. If it's not finished in the next couple of hours though I'm going to kill it..

Have they stopped exporting stats? Just a bit curious, as my stats haven't updated since this weekend. Thanks...
yup.
No changes to the xml in 3 days now.
Bok something strange has happened to the BOINC Combined Users stats today. The first 18 people all scored 1 Billion points (well nine hundred and ninety eight thousand million or so in English or a Trillion points in US nomenclature)!
Edit: It appears to be Seti Beta that is the cause of the aberration.
yeah. Seti Beta has really fsck'd it up.
I'll fix those users up later today
At http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=proj&proj=wie I've only been able to get "Page Cached 0 days,0 hours & 48 mins ago.." for over 3 days.
I have tried Firefox and IE8.
hmm, that's a little bizarre. I see the zero length cached page, but am unsure how it was created. I cleared it manually and it's loaded correctly now.
I need to spend a bit more time on this, perhaps add in a sanity check on the length of the cached file prior to writing it.
Let me know if it happens again
ah, I see the problem. Should be fixed. Looks like only for this particular page. It shouldn't happen I don't think, but in this case I'd left the code in that script to write the cached page AND done an include which means the it's duplicated. It wrote it out correctly, then overwrote it with a blank file..
Let me know if you see it again...

Are the Stats Down ?
No.
They are just mildly depressed
/ed - something is hanging / taking too long ... needs a size-12 with Bok's foot in it - ed/

Any body have a shot of Prozac for Mr Stats
Looks ok now? Not sure what the problem was.
*EDIT* actually looking at the logs, it was the weekly rollover that took 2 1/2 hours. Mostly inserting the weekly user data as I stopped the weekly host data altogether. I'll optimize those tables this week.
Hmm pity you couldn't multi-thread it so that queries could continue but marked as (*) data maybe refreshing.
Semi-retired from Free-DC...
I have some time to help.....
I need a new laptop, but who needs a laptop when you have a phone...
Now to remember my old computer specs..
Queries do and always have been available still. All computations are done in a separate database (and physical Hard Drive) and once complete, replicated to the live web facing database.
Can we get a kick start of the Wieferich stats,

a question to the stats-god: why do we have 3 "Mustard"s on http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...7&team=Free-DC ?
From the numbers produced, these 3 look like the same man:
"Participant #473,297" --> http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...=473297Free-DC
"Mustard" --> http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...=471588Free-DC , http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...=473390Free-DC , http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...=475132Free-DC (which seems to be the most recent)

nonboinc stats kicked.
I don't auto-delete users, so those are old ones. They are flagged for deletion though, so I've gone ahead and done that now.. give it a short time to replicate into live..
hmm, actually those are separate accounts for Mustard.
Wieferich is at it again, er not doing it again.
yeah, see my last post on DPAD. As all of the nonboinc projects run in a loop, r5prp is causing a sticky.. I'll take it out or convert it to to die gracefully to allow the others to continue.
Standard sunday service It takes a few hours overnight on saturday to do the weekly stuff including backups.. usually about 9am PST it's updating again.
I've thinking about putting something in which shows what the current status is, but haven't quite got my head around how to display it..
How come mopac@home has Free-DC listed as a stat lister
But Free-DC does not have stats for Mopac
They aren't exporting their stats yet
Yeah, Stats files are still there but have not been updated in a long time..
I think the Folding@home stats might be stuck:
