I've got 10 more wu's that will finish within the challenge time, to date all the points I have so far are from the single core i7 2600@4Ghz.. not bad at all

I'm going to join enderak over at Five or Bust Double Check after this challenge: http://www.primegrid.com/forum_threa...rap=true#40678
Looks like we'll hold #22 overall? I think Dutch Power Cows and Aggie The Pew pass us, but we pass Picard and Team China?
Nice push at the line to beat L'Alliance Francophone & Crunching Family!
I've still got several that are pending so things may change. Bok almost beat me with a single machine. Looks like it is time to think about some upgrades.

Okie dokie, there is another Challenge this month. It starts Nov. 11th at 1800 UTC, that's 10am PST. It runs for 5 days to the 23rd at 1800 UTC.
I will have my quad core laptop on it for the whole challenge. Hopefully, we can finish higher than 20th.
I've got my machines going on the Leonids Challenge. Just turned in the first eight WUs--they're taking about 24-27 hrs each on my hardware.
Final challenge is less than two weeks away: Winter Solstice Challenge (PPS Sieve) Starts December 19 @ 0530 UTC.
I just discovered BOINCpe, and I'm going to use it to add some firepower to the last challenge of the year--I'm going to try to get into the top 100 again.
nVidia and ATI crunchers, dust off your cards and get ready to rumble! This is the Big One!
Who else is in?
How long does it run
I'm in with both Nvidia and ATI cards although my GTX460 fried a pair of fans and is out for replacement.
Here is the way I'm going to do it. Boinc 6.12.34 runs backup projects correctly. I'll set PG for only PPS Seive and a resource share of 0. I'll shutdown my other GPU projects ahead of time and then Boinc will only download one WU at a time. That way I won't have a lot of work to finish before getting the challenge WUs.
Lauren, you better run some test WUs ahead of time to make sure your ATIs are setup correctly.

Only about 9 hours left until the start.
Hopefully we'll break into the top 20.

It looks like it is just three of us against the world.
The team is currently in 37th place.

I count 9 on our team against the world.
And you Know I'm a slow starter
I have 9 ati's working this
Do you think my output is Low for that ?
I see Bok joined in
First of all the credit given here has been just about cut in half. I have all my GPUs running this and a year ago I would have been making 2 mil a day.
The second thing is that even though ATI cards will run this, they are not very efficient at it. I don't know if it's the cards but I suspect it is the application. As an example on a HD4850 a WU takes about 2.5 hours. On a GTX460 it only takes 35 minutes.
Team is at 37 with only about 8 hours to go.
