    You NEED the Beta Client

You need to get the BETA 3.25 client (not really a beta, but fixes a bug so it will use SSE on AMD XP processors)
    http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandegroup/beta/beta.html

Then use the following command line to FORCE it to use SSE
    FAH3console.exe -advmethods -forceasm -local

Gromacs will be handed out IF you use the above command line.
You want to get EM to monitor the client(s) to
    www.em-dc.com

    Stats are here
    http://marcc.no-ip.org/ter/userstatsfdc.php
or here, if it's not down temporarily for stats updating

The client version is now 4.00 for all of the clients. Download page:
    http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandeg.../download.html

For AMD processors you need to also run the -forceSSE flag. This forces the processor to use SSE instead of 3DNow. This was about a factor of 2 speed increase on my boxen. I don't know if you then don't need to run the -forceasm flag, I just run them both.

I read somewhere, Ghost, that Tinker and Gromacs had been rebenchmarked, so the point disparity is no longer an issue. Can't remember where. Possibly my one visit to the official fora.

I can't see a huge difference, time-wise, between them. It is possible that my Windows XP boxes are returning WUs faster than my Linux boxes, but the WUs are all over the place, time-wise, so I can't really tell.

The benchmark computer is now a P4. There is no longer the huge bonus for running gromacs. If you have an AMD it actually runs tinkers faster than a P4, so tinkers are actually better. All of the no time limit work units are tinkers.

In the Project Summary page, you can view the points, deadline, and server info for every WU available.

Ghost, if your PC can complete and send a WU within the deadline, you shouldn't be using the no-deadline WU only setting. That is for donators with a slow PC which may not complete a WU within the time limit.

In case anyone is interested, I'm running F@H on my E6600 @ 3.3ghz and an X2 @ ~2.5ghz for a week to get a feel for the C2D performance in this project. Here is the thread with the results so far.
