    Suggestion re SubProject MegaMilestones

I read recently somewhere that you (Bok) had started to include the SubProject MegaMilestones into the total represented by the MM badge, and it struck me that you could possibly add a few more of the non-sub MegaMilestones into the sub category. It seems to me that all the Bok/TeraBok etc type ones are just as valid for subprojects, as are the Top10/100/1000 Ranks. For that matter I can't really see why you couldn't do it for MiRBs since you already have the Subproject Rank, and even the total number of SubProjects.

So my suggestion is, why not do it for any that are easy to do it for and just continue to add Sub before it's name so we get a SubBok and the like. That would make the range of the MM badges even greater, and of course anything like that tends to give people more incentive to keep on crunching which is always good.

Nice, very nice even! But I have four remarks meant as improvement suggestions:

    1. The sorting of the 'new stones' is off, both under 'Subproject MM's' and most especially under 'Mega Milestones' in the User Milestones view.
    2. The values for 'Many' can be taken with a pinch of salt. I have only 6 subprojects with 50M or more and 7 with 25M or more, not 11 for both.
    3. The values under 'RankT' bring you to the same page as those under 'Type' -I thought RankT should give you your standing in your team. Try the link above the example to see what I mean.
    4. There are still 'missing values' as compared to the regular stones (500k, 750k, 2.5M, 100M, 250M, 500M)

yes, vaughan had pm'd me about those too. As for the other things, I likely won't fix them on stats, but will on stats6 which will ultimately be moved to stats when complete. I'm slowly getting all the pages updated over there.

EDIT: well some of them were just typos, they should be taken care of.

To paraphrase the Beatles: It is getting better all the time!
    One tiny thing though:
    RankT now connects to http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...roj=s25k&team=
and will not connect anybody to his team, as the team parameter is not filled (same holds for all other RankT values of course), but instead still gives the same result as
    http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...s&subproj=s25k

Legwork is done.. though all there is to show is the 'sboks' category... more to come soon..

*EDIT* WTH added a few more too, though no one has any in the subteraboks, subbozos, subgibsons or strigggls.... I'm up there in the sboks category though..

Great stuff, though I will have to wait before I see any non-credit based ones. I ought to have a sBok, but of course there's that old "got to get more than one before you can find out you've got one" chestnut ;-)
So are you doing sProjects, sClanks, sMiRBs, sTeraMiRBs and the sTop1*'s too? Or do I need to wait and see?
How about a row 0 total line on the SubProjects screen? (like as in the main screen) It would be nice to see at a glance if there is anything worth scanning down the columns for. Just a thought.

I think I'll alter the numbers required for these down a little actually, look for that in a little while. I'll be adding the others.

As for a line 0, do you mean to combine all subproject values - doesn;t really make too much sense to me to do that or is there some other reason you would want it for?. It's a lot more user friendly on stats6 btw where sorting on any column is available.

Yes I have been flipping between stats and stat6. Cool stuff.
I do mean just that re the total thinkg, just like the project 0 total line on the main page. I just like the consistency between the two pages - especially with the move to extending the MM's to the sub-project pages. It would be quite nice to see totals for the day and yesterday just for comparison, and to see if it is worth scanning down the list to see if there is anything interesting. It's no biggie at all, just a nicety, and I won't lose any sleep if you don't put it in there, I just thought while you are making changes .....
Thanks again for all the good work.

It may be just me, and it may just be a glitch, but I just noticed that Bozo's (or is it Gibsons for 10M), TeraMiRBs and Triggls have just disappeared from the main page.

And I just spotted that if you sort on the column headers on the main page on stats6 it seems to forget that line 0 is a total line and it ends up as line 77 in my case, and one of my projects gets line 0. Is that the way you intended it to work?

Not just you, I am getting (or not getting as is the case) the same missing mega milestones.

The CPID page - sorry should have been more specific. And there may be other MM's that I can't remember or haven't got.

They do appear to be in your examples, it's very strange. Yet I should have 12 trigggls and none show, 2 TeraBoks and none show, and 2 Gibsons and none show. (Though oddly my Boks are showing). Because of this I am not showing any TeraMiRBs, and my MiRBs are so depleted that I am in danger of losing my solitary Maxwell.
Very strange! They all showed until about the 13th which was the time you were making some other changes - not that I am suggesting anything there ;-) but have you perhaps accidentally changed the number of each you need before they show? Or perhaps knocked an array of test numbers or tolerances out of alignment by adding in the SubProject ones. (I know what I mean by that! It makes sense in the languages I used to program in)
Feel free to check my CPID page

I've just double checked and by my reckoning, in the examples you have given, Maxwell should have more Bozos and TeraBoks than are shown, and Werinbert, whilst showing 3 Trigggls, actually has 32 of them! He should also have 4 TeraBoks which aren't shown in the MM table.
    I hope that helps.

That's better. And tomorrow I'll get my nice Cyan MM badge back - I was missing it!
That "Doh" speaks volumes, I'm not going to ask, we all have the odd Doh!
So have you finished with the sub-MMs as well now? Which ones did you do - or are you doing?

I think so. Clanks might be doable, but the others require table changes on the back end (which also means changing some of the perl scripts too)..

vaios are N/A with respect to subprojects. mirbs would be difficult and maxwells also quite difficult

so apart from the credit based ones I added sboks, strigggls, steraboks, sgibsons and sbozos.

Cool, good stuff, but don't you have the information right there for sMiRBs/steraMiRBs? It's just a count of RankP's less than 1000 and less than 100. Sorry maybe it's one of these things that's dead easy to say and trickier to code.

it would break due to the WCG ones given I don't have a full set of data, makes it kind of meaningless if the top ones are all due to only those who have chosen to provide their code so I can pull that data.

That's what puts me off a little.

It is only a tally of the RankP's of the MM's themselves though, not the Project Ranks of the individual sub-projects. So if they are worth showing and are accurate enough, then so IMHO would a couple more MM's for the ones RankP'd below 1000 and 100
