Shipping to Australia wouldn't be too horrendous, but we run on 240V not 110V, the plugs are different, and it's region-locked to NTSC or high-def output. (And I only have a standard-def PAL telly)
(And my girlfriend would kill me )
I believe the PS3 power supply is universal voltage-wise, so all you would need is an adapter plug to make it fit into your electrical socket. However, your TV would probably be a problem.
As for the girlfriend.. chloroform?
It depends on how your postal system works, I guess (unless you use a courier). For me to send such a package from here to Austria it would cost in the region of £25/32€ without tracking/signature, and near £30/38€ with. Extra insurance would probably be required too, which might take it to 40€. That's just Royal Mail's prices though, yours are probably different. Courier might be cheaper.
I don't think so. When sending items within Europe, you don't usually need a customs label attached. Also, I've sent several packages to Portugal worth over £300 each and the recipient never paid import duty on them. I've also received several valuable packages from Sweden and never paid import duty.- how about paying duty for that PS3 (do we have to within European Union?)?
