Windows only right now, seems pretty stable. No problems at all in the last couple of days.

It's funny... my BOINC cache is set for two days but it seems like uFluids doesn't really pay much attention to that. I still have a couple days left to go before I'll be hitting Protein@Home full tilt.

Hey Bok! Is this one still running well for you? How do you run it on dual cpu rigs? I've gotten bored with SoB, and would like to find something Medical again to run on my rigs!

    Its all run via BOINC

Go to the Proteins@Home homepage download boinc and install it, attach the project and sign up during that process.

BOINC will detect your CPUs and use them to run one wu per cpu.

How often do there servers update? I show that I have uploaded some WU's but I don't show any credits, or pending credits.Did I overlook something that I needed to set up?

Has the BOINC client reported the results too, or are they sitting in "Waiting to Report?"

It usually doesn't take long for WUs to validate and credits get awarded.

Under the messages Tab it shows started upload, then finished upload. Also, I noticed under the projects Tab, it shows my Account as Dan, and no Team.I signed up as n7vxj, and joined free-dc.When I go the website, it shows me as a member of free-dc.What the heck is going on???I'm wondering if I need to stopit, ubinstall it, and then reinstall.

Sounds exactly like Marky-UK said. Are the 100% completed work units still showing under the Tasks tab as "Ready to report"?

If so, this would explain why your username and team are showing wrong, because it won't fetch the latest settings until it reports completed tasks IIRC. Uploading a completed work unit and reporting it are two separate stages. You don't become eligible for credit until the task is reported.

You can force it to report any completed tasks by going to the Projects tab, highlighting the associated project and clicking Update.

Alpha, I already tried that, forcing it to upload. It also showed where it had updated my general preferences. I just uninstalled.I am going to try a reinstall, and see if that solves the problem.

It takes a few days for it to show what you are actually producing so don't give up on it. I started Wed and Thurs and didn't get full power showing until Monday

Mine for some reason has gone down a little. I did switch one machine over to ABC, but I think I'll switch that back now...

Wish they had a linux client at Proteins
